    Default WBC/WBA Middleweight Title Unification

When are we gonna see the middle weight kings Martinez and Sturm go head to head? I think being a lefty and so tough Martinez could stand up to sturm's stiff jab and pose some problems

    its never going to happen.

Martinez is likely going to fight Andy Lee, and the cancerous WBC is going to strip him of his title like the WBO did.

And who cares about unification with a WBA title, there are like 4 wba champions in every weight category. It has become an absolute joke.

I can't see Felix Sturm ever fighting anybody ranked in the top 10 let alone the best fighter in the division.

I'd be surprised if Sturm was brave enough to even face Matthew Macklin.

I can see Paul Williams redeaming himself fighting Sturm. Kinda got the same style of a Winky Wright. Nonetheless, these so called champions is truly trying to hold on to their title(s) by not fighting the best. Some of these rules should change.

    1. Mandatory fights should come after a unification fight. Purse bid those fights and make them happen.

    Tired of ______- ___ champions.

    FIGHT THE BEST.

I completely agree..I think there should be one maybe two boxing organizations to run all the fighters with the best fighting the best not the organizations making champions for money draws instead of giving a shot to the best contenders and not so many in-between divisions..an "Undisputed" champion in each division and have a bantam-weight feather-weight heavy-weight middle-weight welter-weight fly-weight light-weight and a light-heavy division..no cruiser or shit like that, be more strict on making weight, you make weight or you don't fight no buying your way out of it, only a catch weight if both parties agree before hand..This way we have a real "World Champion" in each division not that organizations so called "world champ"

There are 2 things I've learned in life, if you want to get rich really fast in a crooked manner, you either start your own religion or start a boxing organization.

Unified Mandatorys: If a champion has unified 2 belts, his 2 mandatories should have to fight to become the unified mandatory challenger. This will foster long term unification. This is the only way the parasitic alphabet gangs can save themselves from irrelevance.

I agree..to many organizations have the mind set that theirs trump all others and we have a big bundle of champions in the same weight class which proves nothing on who the real best of the best is..if there was ONE we would know and he would have mandatory fights with the top condensers, which consequentially would lead to bigger better ppv buys and a more competitive sport to be exciting to watch and bring boxing titles back to the glory and prestige they once held

If bitch as Sturm EVER leaves Germany I'd die of shock.

However Sergio has the balls to fly his ass to Germany and hand Sturm his ass so it's not really too far of a stretch.

I asked Lou Dibella about a Sturm-Martinez fight and he said that Sturm is interested for later next year.
