I saw him batter Willie Lee a few months back and he looked awesome doing it. Only thing is how would he do against better opposition? I suppose only time will tell.

I've been pretty high on Lara for a while, I think he needs to find his identity a little better before stepping up.

I seem to get him and Rigondeaux mixed up for some reason. I know Rigi stunk up the joint picking up an alphabet strap last month.

Which one was Freddy Roach training and then split with?

He's a future P4P fighter IMO, but he needs to step up his level of competition as he's not getting any younger.

If I am correct, he's fighting Delray Raines next fight. He's good, fast and very technical, I would take him seriously like for most cuban fighters actually.

I like Lara, but all the Cubans seem to have come through at similar times and I'd say Gamboa, Rigondeaux and Solis have all impressed me more. Gamboa & Rigondeaux in particular have that explosiveness and confidence that I'm unsure if Lara posesses. He's very good, has all the tools, but has appeared caucious to me. There again, I didn't see the Willie Lee fight.
