    Default Adjusting on the rear hook

    I just recently joined a boxing gym too work out more and when im doing the rear/right hook on the bag my coach tells me to adjust to make the hook stronger does anyone know what she might mean by adjusting to the bag

    you really need to ask your coach,without seeing you punch its hard to imagine what the issue is. a stab in the dark, are you proper distance? are you balanced? uhm does the coach think that a right hook is a sloppy cross and never should be thrown ? lots of stuff here.

    That doesnt really give anybody much help tbh, just saying ''adjust'' and giving no further advice or tips is like standing there and saying ''box better!'' or ''have better footwork and handspeed!!''... ''be Mayweather!'' lol. its like those corner men you see in tournaments yelling at their fighter ''hit him'' or ''be careful'' lol, it always tickles me when i hear stuff like that.

    Seriously though it would be nice if training people were this easy but obviously its not, the whole point in a boxing coach is because you want to get better and you dont know how, they are supposed to help you, if the coach is simply standing there and just telling you to get better rather than how to go about it then it doesnt look good mate.
