Default British board likely to refuse the Chagaev fight

Looks like his Hep B will force there hand, I think he is a has been anyway personally since he has had this he has hardly fought and Wlad already beat the shit out of him and he looked shit last time out, I think it would be the Ruiz fight all over again.

The only fight that interests me now is Povetkin who is ranked number 3 by the WBA.

    Current WBA top 15

    1.Chagaev
    2.Boytsov
    3.Povetkin
    4.Ustinov
    5.Rahman
    6.Valuev
    7.Dimitrenko
    8.Mormeck
    9.Meehan
    10.Adamek
    11.Heleius
    12.Ibragimov
    13.Bakhtov
    14.Gomez
    15.Arreola

I wouldn't rule out a rematch with Mormeck which would be a fucking farce but he is in the the top ten.

Surprise surprise....doesn't make much difference to me as Chagaev looks washed up.

I don't know who I'd like to see this guy fight outside of the Klitschko's or Adamek...Boytsov isn't ready IMO, Dimitrenko would be an easy fight, Chambers would be a difficult one but he's been inactive for a while.

Couldn't he fight him in Ireland?

Has there ever been a heavyweight title fight there?

I say if Haye can't or won't fight the Klitschkos then throw Sam Peter in there with him.

Or at least the Elephant Seal Arreola.

Someone who can hit hard and is a threat.

He would KO Chagaev within 5 anyway and we all know it! He'd make sure it looked far better than when Wlad fought him and it wouldn't take much!

I dont blame anyone for not wanting to fight Chagaev. I mean if you dont have the vaccine, its too risky....he gets cut, and you get cut, and theres a problem. He should just retire, he sucks anyway after his achillies injury.

I wonder if Povetkin would be up to fight him? I mean what with the trainer situation you've got to wonder if that would hinder his chances at getting offered or even taking a title shot.

Who gives a fuck? Haye should just give up his worthless WBA title if it presents a problem. He's a paper champion anyway. That title by all rights should be Wlad's

Stick him in with Chambers, Peters, Arreola, Adamek or even Povetkin like Lyle suggested. Just someone younger than 35 and with a pulse. Haye will likely fight someone easy and then head off into retirement. A rich man, but a fraud nonetheless.

So is this official? I've never liked Haye's chances against someone as potentially cagey as Chagaev. But then I never saw his last fight..?

This is a blessing. After watching Chagaev in his last fight, he would get absolutely pummeled by Haye worse than Ruiz got it.

Echoing Drago, a fight against either Klit is the only way to go. Sam peter is done, Arreola is Grotesquely out of shape, Chambers is a fat cruiserweight, Povetkin will never be ready and I can't be bothered even thinking about anyone else. I wouldn't mind seeing Haye Adamek as the only possible substitute fight around.

    Great post.
I echo those sentiments as well. Really, if it isn't a Klitschko, Adamek is the only way to go. Solis is the other contender I'd consider, but as he's just agreed to fight Vitali that is out of the question. Wouldn't be stunned if the Valuev rematch happened now.
