Default Any Ideas on some good boxing books..?

Gets pretty quiet at work this time of year so want to get hold of some decent fight books to pass the time.

Last one i read was - Duran's - Hands of Stone which is a good read.

    Really?

Unforgivable blackness is a good one, dark trade is another. Bunces book is supposed to be good, the fixer I think it is.

Saw that four kings book over Crimbo, didnt pick it up, will do now it has the TKO seal of approval.

Off topic but Smash you must have read Marching Powder? If not Im told its brilliant, right up your alley
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Both excellent IMO especially Dark Trade. The Last Great Fight was quite good, its about the Tyson-Douglas fight. I liked Teddy Atlas' book, some interesting things have happened to him, and King of the World by David Remnick was very good also.

Bunces book is awfull.Had it for christmas.

Its interesting in parts but a lot of the time its total dogs poo!

The plot is thinner than Steve Bunces hair line and the characters are as beleivebly as Don King.

Hope Bunce sticks to factual books in future.

    My favorites are:

My View From The Corner (Angelo Dundee)
American Son (Oscar De La Hoya)
Irish Thunder the hard life and times of micky ward (Micky Ward)

These are all excellent books probably best I've ever read boxing or otherwise, and the Ward book fills in tons of details the movie missed all great reads

Dark Trade and Nigel Benn autobiography. Eubanks is funny in bits. Mills lane done one after the Tyson ear biting which was OK.
