    Default the 'Jab' program

Okie I been punching the bag for a while now, and I can only go 2-3 rounds with throwing effective jabs. After that my arms want to fall off. Now the jabs I'm throwing are quick and snappy they not power jabs.

Please advise-give advetise. And is there any traning program that will help to throw a millions jabs and keep my hands up?

    Tx

this is not the answer you want but you just have to KEEP doing it... one week do 2 rounds of hard clean jabs and the next week do one more round and so on and so forth. everyday just jabbing... sorry but thats it.

jab, double, tripple and quadruple jabs... youll be golden in a couple of months

Thanks for the honest answer. Will keep at it. Its amazing how I can be jabbing perfectly fine. Then throw2-3 power shots and then be totally gassed out that I can't keep my hands and there is still a minute to go
. Almost makes me not want to throw those...

If you get gassed after throwing just a few power shots- I guess you mean right hands, hooks and uppercuts- I'm going to take a guess and say that the problem is not with your jabbing but is, instead, with your 'power punching.' Pay attention to your technique- it may very well be that your are throwing your arms when you punch and not driving your punches by shifting weight on your feet, then turning your hips and shoulders. The amount of arm movement (and energy expended) should be minimal. Also, are you remembering to breathe when you punch? Getting tensed up and holding your breath when you punch will definitely leave you punched out. You see it happen when a fighter hurts his opponent, throws a lot of punches but, because he's excited, forgets to breathe.
With just about any problem you'll encounter in boxing, look to your technique.

Arms are just the vehicles of force, they don't generate any power.

If you got a burning sensation in you shoulders it may be lactic acid. Your LA thresholds will adjust as you continue and become more well conditioned.
