    Default Super Bowl

Don't see any threads about the upcoming Super Bowl... so I thought I'd start one.

    Go Steelers!!!!!

Ahem... having gotten THAT out of the way, my own analysis about the upcoming event. First of all, should be one HELL of a Super Bowl. Two of the winningest franchises in the history of the sport going at it head-to-head. Two excellent, tough defenses. Gotta admit... Green Bay's offense looks better at this point than the Steelers, so got to give the nod to the Packers on that one. Big Ben (Roethlisberger) is going to have to bring his "A" game for sure for this one.

I have nothing against the Packers, but have been a Steeler fan for many years. So I'm hopeful they'll win their 7th Super Bowl and go two up on their closest pursuers, the (UGH!!!) Dallas Cowboys.

Anybody else going to be watching this?

Hell yeah goin to be watching it and as ya already mentioned, go steelers. Not a steeler fan but for this game...as for ben bringing his a game, he will dude's perhaps one of the most underrated qbs he might not break any passing records or anything like that but with the game on the line I'm not sure id want any other qb.

I'll be watching but no cheering for me.

Although if I had to pick one, I'd pick the Steelers, simply for their defense.

Yep... that's right. They've come to symbolize Pittsburgh's blue-collar spirit, and are basically named after Pittsburgh's steel industry which was the city's main industry back a few decades ago. They've always prided themselves on being a "grind-it-out" type of football team, with a history of terrific defenses ("The Steel Curtain"), and always a good running game.

Both franchises are rich in football history, as the Packers won the first two Super Bowls, and have a bunch of NFL championships from the days BEFORE the Super Bowl as well.

It's hard to dislike either team, but being a Steelers fan... I gotta go with Pittsburgh on this one.

This is the first season where I have been on an absolute Super Bowl media blackout. Football is my favorite sport to watch alongside with boxing but I have a bad taste in my mouth. I'm going to end up watching the game, but the end of the Jets' season has left me depressed! Last season, we weren't expected to get as far as we did so it was a surprise to me. This season, I really thought we were going to make it to the Super Bowl.

As far as my prediction, I think this is going to be one HELL of a game! You have the best defense in the NFL against the hottest offense. I see Rodgers running the two-minute drill to get the go ahead score leaving the Steelers no time to answer right back. Imagine if Jermichael Finley was still part of the Pack offense?! It wouldn't be fair.

I'm sick of seeing the Steeler win Super Bowls, Green Bay all the way. Not to mention the Steelers cost me alot of money earlier in the season. Bastards.

2006 - Steelers, 2007 - Giants, 2008 - Steelers, 2009 - Saints, 2010 - should be another Pitt win if the trend continues. Going back to my fuckin Jets, I thought about this statistic right before the game and got really skeptical.

Packers are for working class too man. They butcher cattles and pack them. Steeling is hard work too. But they get paid more.

I'm going with the Steelers in this one. Should be a hell of a game between 2 excellent teams, but I'm leaning towards Pittsburgh. A lot of this team has Superbowl experience, and Roethlisberger won't be fazed as he's been here twice before. I think he could have a big game
