Not a bad scrap, Vera deserved the win. I was a little worried when a heard the one scorecard who had Mora ahead by 2 points. I thought Vera was going to lose it at that point.

I think he and Pavlik will make for a good fight. He's a feisty guy like Zertuche.

    Btw...Shobox is just starting.
Pavlik puts Vera in a coma within 6 rounds.
I agree. I think the first few rounds will be exciting like the Zertuche fight. Once Pavlik finds his range it's lights out.

Kayode's getting outboxed by a guy with no amateur fights

Other guy's getting tired. I think Kayode will catch up to him soon.

9th round coming up. If this was an eight rounder I think Ianuzzi would've won.

Kayodee looked like crap, not a good outing. I actually thought the other guy won it. That stupid ref, what a bullshit score, two guys gave Kayodee way too many rounds. I thought Mora won, but he made it way too close in Veras backyard. Also that ring was extra small which helped Vera alot. The opening fight was good as well with a dramatic last round.

Mora did about as good without a trainer as guys in court do representing themselves....Brian Vera is just simply a fighter he'll win some and loose some.

Good point....Though IMO Mora gave the fight away...Too much clowning and shit...Smiling after being caught with a solid shot...Talking to the ESPN crew etc....More never looked like he wanted to win the fight though he did act like he would win ......Mora is a better fighter then Vera....This was a fight he should have taken more seriously due to nthe doubts on him already and how it will effect his future...

I think one aspect that also helped Vera, was his shots affected Mora. Mora's shot where like a mosquito to Vera, he only ever hurt him with body shots. Stepping back and acknowledging you just got hit good is never good to make your case. Mora had the cleaner shots, they just werent effective.

    Yep.

Only time Vera was hurt was with those body shots in the 9th I believe.

Vera def hurt Mora a couple of times with those clean left hooks. And he outworked Mora big time in the first 3/4 of the fight. Mora only won like 2 rounds thru the first 8, maybe 3, add in him winning the last two rounds, and he gets a 96-94 loss or a 95-95 draw.

And first thing I noticed was that ring was super small.

    Hooray for Vera !

I don't hate him, but it is annoying. Mora, of anyone should know you can't take the present fight for granted?!

All in all a good scrap! Vera looks like a mean mean guy with little skill but a solid come forward style that is pleasant to watch.

Mora looks aged, shot, and done. He doesn't have the strength to compete and apparently doesn't have the work ethic either. No doubt they will recycle him near the top for 5-6 fights though.

Did you see the pre-fight interview with Mora asking for someone to shut him up about claiming he's one of the best fighters in the world? Ask and you shall recieve.

Ok I'm going on the extreme cheap .....Bump

The rematch is going on, 3rd round and Mora is being pushed into corners with ease and unless his sole hope is to rope-a-dope to Vera gasing I think he's being walked on 3-zip so far

I know, its a Mora fight...and its in Tx...but its a thin night of action. They have a rather excited gal with a Grace jones hairdo calling the fight so I'm not complaining
