Damn,just read that this fight is off due to Barker sustaining a injury.This must be old news,sorry if it is folks.

yeah the fight before xmas was cancelled due to injury and Macklin looked pretty average against his replacement.
I'm confused now though because from what i have read Hennessey have won the purse bids to finally get this match made but Mackin is fighting Winky Wright. I'm not sure if there's any chance of this fight actually happening now or not.
If Macklin beats Wright then i doubt he will want to return and fight Barker but i could be wrong. Chances are he'll lose to Wright and then fight Barker as it's the next best thing.
I'm sure there'll be someone on here who has a clearer understanding of what's going on though
