Donny have you ever tried melatonin? it's the hormone that signals your body to start shutting down for sleep.
It's naturally occurring in the body and synthesized from nutrients in different foods but you can you can take it orally too, not sure if it is synthetic or extracted.
What Andre is suggesting is probably a better long term suggestion, but a small dose of melatonin might give you a helping hand short term.
I wouldn't recommend long term use of it... it's not harmful to you... but your body will eventually start to rely on it rather than producing it's own. I know people who use it fine and have done for years... as fair as sleeping meds go you're probably not going to find anything more natural.... but 100% natural is best so I wouldn't use it long term if I were you!
I've used it with I've had to get off to sleep very early... it's worked for me sometimes... but not others so I don't bother anymore, it doesn't agree with everybody and it's only really meant to give you a helping hand so you can't be wide awake and take it... if you are already tired but can't quite get off it'll probs help.
Andre my Girlfriend has had M.E. (CFS) pretty severely for the past 4-5 years... she's almost better and a lot of it seems to be down to things like free guided meditation, acupuncture and NLP.
Lots of dietary supplements too (Melanin being one of them!), which have helped her in some ways... definitely improved her stamina/stability of her illness... maybe not improved her actual condition but made her less sensative... it's what would be viewed as 'alternative therapies' that seem to have had the biggest effect in actually making her improve and get well.
I cant speak Highly enougth of it
