You've not gone mad...
My Ipod is my best friend.
It's literally hand in hand with my phone.
I wake up listening to it and go to sleep listening to it.
At work it plays, in my car it plays.
When I get off if I'm alone and I know I'll have time to liste to a song or two I throw on my ear phones and listen to it.
I wake up singing and I'm constantly singing or humming or whistling a song.
Music is my heart beat it motivates me and defintely effects my day and how I feel that day.
As for your post. Wouldn't it be cool if when you walked by someone you could also tap in to whatever they were listening to?
I often do that when I notice someone else with ear phones.
I ask myself I wonder how much music we have in common?
Wonder if there's a particular song which we both really like or an artist whom we both admire.
See with me really there is no genre that I'm not willing to listen. I don't know Italian but there's several Italian songs I like. I don't know Japanese but there's several Japanese songs I like. When people see my Ipod and they notice these things their reaction is like "What are these songs?" or for example some friends noticed I had Gospel music they were like "Gospel?"
My Ipod has English, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese.
Genres like Gospel, Alternative Rock, Classic Rock, Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B, Oldies, Rancheras, Boleros, Pop, Dance, Techno, Country, Classical, Contemporary.
Arist that very from Nina Simone to Patsy Cline to Chaka Khan to Roy Orbinson to Luis Miguel to Eminem.
For the soudtrack of my life it would be the craziest playlist you can imagine... To start it off though I would have to take it back a bit with a song that just moves me when I hear it. The message behind the song and if you listen to it with a open mind and open heart you'll get the message. For those who are not familiar with Gospel music.
Here's a little description:
A theme of gospel music is praise, worship or thanks to
God,
Christ, or the
Holy Spirit.
