Default People that like tearing down Floyd's resume

Granted his personality isn't that likable but the guy is an atg and pure talent in boxing. And I only care about what happens in the ring more than outside of it.

Kind of funny that Pac's fan base or his defenders like to say with hindsight that most or all of Floyd's victories have question marks or that when FLoyd fought his opponents they knew this or that would happen, yeah sure they did. Try to act like Nostradamus after the fight happened.

Take for example his win over Oscar, it's now being rubbish that Oscar was too old (at the time it was seen as a great future bout) but when Pac fought him, it was okay? A weight drain Oscar that was shot is much better when FLoyd fought him? The Hatton victory is another one that is being called garbage because it was fought at 147 but at the time of the fight many people, at least half gave Hatton a real shot of beating Floyd because of Floyd's struggles against Castillo in the 1st bout, citing that Floyd doesn't deal well with pressure fighters and that Hatton was among the best. Now it's called rubbish. Another one is the Shane Mosley fight now that victory is called rubbish but when the fight was going on it was said Floyd was scared and would lose and he was forced to take the fight, and after the victory it was said Shane was too old and inactive. Now everyone is praising Pacquiao for fighting a Mosley that looked like shit in his last 2 fights. And no you can't spin it around and say Mosley is now much fresher and much more prime than when Floyd fought him.

People are confusing Floyd's personality with his talent and his boxing career. His personality is shit but that doesn't mean his talent or resume is. Stop trying to tear the man's resume. It's arguably the best out there.

I'm a massive fan of mayweathers, no one can dominate the way he does he makes good fighters look pretty average. Yeah sometimes the adantages have been stacked in his favour (JMM) but he has also been in a lot of fights that people thoght were going to be close and that he could lose and he has won impressively.

his skills are amazing to watch and he makes it look so easy.

Can't knock floyds record the only thing that pisses me off is his lack of activity for 3 reasons 1 we are being deprived of watching him, 2 he is missing out on fights that could be enhancing his legacy and 3 if he does ever fight pacman his chances of winning are getting slimmer the longer he stays inactive i reckon even floyd needs to be on top of his game for this one.

pacs cv is only slightly better than floyds

after the big 6-7 fights floyd was in with the baldomirs and corleys of this world

pac has marquez, barrera, morales, de la hoya, hatton, cotto, margarito, solis etc

end of the day, 2 truly extrodinary fighters with awesome career records who other than them very selves have never ducked a fight
    one dangerous horrible bloke

FLoyd is no doubt a big asshole, I don't think many people will say they like the guy's personality, but like I've said his talent and resume can't be denied. People seems to hate the guy so much because of that and tear down his resume.

There is no way it can SERIOUSLY be torn down. He is an ATG that has fought and Beaten many other ATG's. In fact only Pac in boxing right now has a resume that can even compare IMO. Thats another reason they must get it on.

Floyd wins IMO if they do manage to sort it this year. If not the fight probably still will happen but it will be after the primes have past and it will be a great shame to have never seen these 2 masters of the craft head to head in their pomp!!

He's an all-time great, but given how many divisions he's fought in and how he never cared to unify the titles, there will always be questions....same goes for Pacquiao.

The better you are the more the fans expect from you, its the curse of success in boxing.

Who are the 'many' other "all-time great" fighters that Mayweather has beaten?

I think he'll go down a bit like Jones jr. A couple of huge wins vs current, future greats but just leaving some woulda coulda shoulda feel. Like Picasso working with paint by numbers a times. Floyds his biggest obstacle moslty, killed career momentum.

There are fighters that floyd did not fight people would have like him to. IMO he would likely beat all of them anyway but he didn't take on those fights. Same goes with pac, people will say he didnt fight so and so but IMO he has even less potential fights than floyd that he wouldn't have destroyed.

I personally dont think floyd and pac are equal when it comes to resume or accomplishment. Pac IMO has the better resume and the most accomplishment. He also did it the hard way and fought the tougher fights asap.

I just hope pac and floyd finally get it on because it would be the only way to shut everyone up.
