Granted his personality isn't that likable but the guy is an atg and pure talent in boxing. And I only care about what happens in the ring more than outside of it.
Kind of funny that Pac's fan base or his defenders like to say with hindsight that most or all of Floyd's victories have question marks or that when FLoyd fought his opponents they knew this or that would happen, yeah sure they did. Try to act like Nostradamus after the fight happened.
Take for example his win over Oscar, it's now being rubbish that Oscar was too old (at the time it was seen as a great future bout) but when Pac fought him, it was okay? A weight drain Oscar that was shot is much better when FLoyd fought him? The Hatton victory is another one that is being called garbage because it was fought at 147 but at the time of the fight many people, at least half gave Hatton a real shot of beating Floyd because of Floyd's struggles against Castillo in the 1st bout, citing that Floyd doesn't deal well with pressure fighters and that Hatton was among the best. Now it's called rubbish. Another one is the Shane Mosley fight now that victory is called rubbish but when the fight was going on it was said Floyd was scared and would lose and he was forced to take the fight, and after the victory it was said Shane was too old and inactive. Now everyone is praising Pacquiao for fighting a Mosley that looked like shit in his last 2 fights. And no you can't spin it around and say Mosley is now much fresher and much more prime than when Floyd fought him.
People are confusing Floyd's personality with his talent and his boxing career. His personality is shit but that doesn't mean his talent or resume is. Stop trying to tear the man's resume. It's arguably the best out there.
