    Default My top ten prospects

    1. Kazuto Ioka
    2. Jose Benavidez Jr.
    3. Frankie Gavin
    4. James DeGale
    5. Frankie Gomez
    6. Ismayl Sillakh
    7. George Groves
    8. Brad Solomon
    9. Edwin Rodriguez
    10. Fernando Guerrero

Also noteworthy and closing in area: Matt Korobov, Marcus “Too Much” Johnson, Rakhim Chakhkiev, Raul Hirales Jr , Kell Brook, Rico Ramos, Sadam Ali, Ran Nakash, Seth Mitchell, and Shawn Porter.

I know Ioka holds a tilte, but he has had only 7 fights! Howevere, I would not argue is exclusion. I'd move evryone up a nothch and put Korobov # 10.

    WHAT SAY YOU?

its interesting to see an american boxing fan put 3 english fighters in the top 10 prospects

I personally think Kel Brook is special

could prove better than all the british prospects

Funny, but for some reason I have always been a big fan of UK fighters. Thye have a special grit and don't leave much in the ring. Heck, Benn, Watson, Euban, Thompson, Schweyer (sp-?), Green, Minter, Sibbo, always gave the fans their money's worth--and I enyoed the hell out of them.

Yeah they look like good prospects until they step up to world level. I dont even know who the number 1 guy is.....Solomon and Rodriguez have looked pretty average to me. Guerrero is past prospect status if you ask me, he is into contender range now.

Shouldn't Korobov, Golovkin and Lemiuex, Proksa be above Guerrero?

I have Lemiuex as afringe contende at this point. Maybe Golovkin, but I don't know enough about Proksa to be honest.

IMHO - beating Ishay Smith is more than anything Lemiuex has done so far although Lemiuex may change that if he beats Rubio.
