    Default Froch vs calzaghe

What if this happened now? Made me think after hearing them talk to eachother on Steve bunce radio, bearing in mind Roy was past it when calzaghe beat him so it's the same situation for froch

Froch is a decent, strong fighter with a good chin and heart ........ but Calzaghe was a class act. Really really skilled, fast hand and a decent punch. He had a very good chin and I think he would have been much to slick for Carl. Even now, I think he would have the perfect style to get past Froch.

Not now Joe has been out the ring for too long. At his best the Joe wins.

Would never happen now because chances are Calzaghe would lose.

Calzaghe would dominate Froch from pillar to post. I like Froch a lot but Calzaghe had just the style to give him problems: faster, good chin, and a competitive spirit eclipsing even Froch's. Calzaghe would beat up Froch for 12 rounds and win on the cards.

He has been out of the ring for to long for me,he would have to take awarm up fight he might have lost his speed with his age and been inactive for so long. Froch might be able to hussle him and take enough rounds to win if the fight happened now.

If the fight happened after the Roy fight Calazaghe would of still beat Froch easy even though Calzaghe is best his best. Jermaine Taylor was a nightmare for Froch till he ran out of gas, Calzaghe would of been his worst nightmare if they fought before Joe retired.

Primes , then Calzaghe wins via UD points , Froch is to one paced,

Prime vs prime I think it would similar to Calzaghe-Lacy. It would just be a one-sided ass-kicking.

Now? Froch stops Calzaghe. He's been gone for far too long and was already on the slide when he quit.

U r right they are both on slide and froch wins. In primes, calzaghe wins but needs facial surgery

If they fought now Froch would batter him. Joe's been out the ring for 2 and half years, is 39 and went through a spell of drug use. Any comeback wouldn't go very well, especially against a tough, world class operator like Froch. I think he got out at the right time as he was starting to slide. Had he fought Froch after the Jones Jr fight I think Joe would have won a pretty wide UD. Prime for prime Joe wins comfortably too, his style was all wrong for Froch. But now, Froch wins.

How is Froch on the slide? He's, pretty inarguably IMO, better than ever at the moment.

Prime for Prime I think Joe would win a UD, if it happened now (even if Joe trained) Froch KO 1!

You are forgetting Joe has been dancing so is in good condition and could go at least 5 rounds.
