Here's one of Khan's team talking about the split. I understand their gripe with being on skysports 3 and not skysports 1, because you don't get all the skysports channels in one package, some only have 1 and 4 or something. It does seem daft to not just suck it up and get on with it, sky is where the money's at in this country so if that affects future fights it might not be too good a move. Still I can't imagine it doing too well on Primetime. If sky aren't interested in showing Khan-Bradley that's stupidity on their part and I'd be disappointed, but as long as some broadcaster over here picks it up I'll pay for that one.
Team Khan on Sky Sports Split, Sky Says No To Bradley - Boxing News
I just don't get the move to Primetime. You hardly ever see their advertisements anywhere, unless people are following it closely they'll not know what's happened with it, it's hardly mainstream. Surely skysports 3, even it it has less viewers than skysports 1 would get better ratings than Primetime.
I hope they at least show Froch if they're cutting Khan off. It looks like they're interested in showing him, but they haven't announced whether they'll be showing the Johnson fight yet.
Speaking of Froch, he's got an autobiography coming out in a few weeks. I'd rather see him bring one out when he's retired cos he's going to be missing the end to the Super Six, sort of like Calzaghe's where it ends with him saying he'd never fight Roy Jones because he was old and it wouldn't be worth it. Fair play to him though, just cashing in like most other athletes have been doing.
