I honestly think Berto is going to win pretty easily. I'm looking at a mid-round stoppage. His handspeed is going to bother Ortiz from the start and won't be able to adjust to it.
    I agree with this.
Thank the Lord! I was beginning to think I was by myself on this one. Ortiz hasn't shown me anything to suggest he will be competitive for this one. Plus, he'll be moving up in weight.
Victor is rumored to have a powerful punch and I'm not completely confident in Berto's chin, but I just don't believe Ortiz will beat Berto. It would be a shock to me if he beat Berto.

Ortiz power vs Bertoz untested chin
How will deal against Ortiz southpaw style
and wether Berto iz gonna fight hiz fight or hiz oppenentz fight lik wit Collazo

Good points Chubby, Ortiz does have a bit of power, and Berto does have an untested chin, and Ortiz is likely the best fighter Berto has faced so far. (I would have loved to have seen Berto fight Mosley)

Just guessing i'd say that Berto will throw caution to the wind saturday night, let it all hang and go for a KO in the 1st couple of rounds. If Ortiz can withstand Berto's initial onslaught, and come back with some big shots of his own we could have a hell of a fight.

I'm gonna be pulling for Surfer Vic, I hope he knocks Berto senseless.

Exactly. Berto is too big, too good, too fast for Ortiz. Victor is going to get pummelled.

I remember Berto having problems with Collazo's straight left early in the fight, Ortiz's left will be faster and more powerful. Interesting fight both are genuinely good guys, I see Berto winning in by UD but I would not be surprised if Ortiz drops Berto at least once in thsi fight.

My guess iz that Berto will win by TKO mid to late roundz no problemo!

I think this fight will come down to who has more heart at the end of the day, i see it being a repeat of berto-callozo in the begging,a tough fight for berto but i see him coming out on top, late stoppage possibly, but i am very excited for this fight, i think we will see some fireworks

Berto is a better fighter who is more accomplished but I think maybe people are stressing a little to hard on the Maidana bout where Ortiz found himself in a situation he had never been in before and made some comments that came about in the heat of the moment type thing. He had shown no signs of not having heart prior or since.

I expect Berto to win but I do not believe it will be easy as many think. Ortiz is bigger then Berto as well, even Andre said he expects to have problems if he allows himself to slip even a second.

I think this will answer questions about both men, Berto being ready for the next tier and Ortiz heart.

Yup, it should be a good fight, it will be interesting to see how it plays out, and who prevails, something really unexpected could even happen, war boxing!

If i'm not mistaken, they'll show the Morales/Maidana replay 1st, and then the main event = Berto/Ortiz.
