    Default Manny vs Floyd

I hear many Floyd nut huggers complaining about Manny's credible opponents. If we take away their two common opponents:

Oscar de la Hoya (Floyd - split decision win, Manny - Oscar quits on his stool)
    Ricky Hatton (Floyd - KO12, Manny - KO2)

    this is what we have:

    Manny Pacquiao:
    Miguel Cotto, TKO 12
    Joshua Clottey, 12 round unanimous
Antonio Margarito, broke eye socket, 12 round unanimous
Shane Mosley, knocked him down, 12 round unanimous

    Floyd Mayweather:
    Big Show at Wrestlemania
Juan Manuel Marquez, Floyd comes in over the weight, 12 round unanimous
    Dancing With The Stars
Shane Mosley, nearly knocked down, 12 round unanimous

    hi rick,

Did you just join this forum to start another pac/floyd arguement? Grow up fella.
As a pacroid fan i take it that your under 5"7 as all everyone says is that hes the smaller man and his beating up all this bigger opponents. small man syndrome.

Bear in mind im a floyd fan..but i think that both of these guys are a couple of little mugs for not fighting each other, and when bob arum compares pac to the goat (ali) and better than robinson it just makes me laugh. pac is the king of catchweights and knows this divison is queuing up with guys with previous losses who turn up for a pay cheque.
after mosely lost to floyd, he knew his best chance had past him by after being decisoned by the best boxer (NOT FIGHTER) in the planet.

Pacroid has achieved alot and has great power. he is fast, strong and has lots of stamina. But lets not forget the losses on his record and the fact he doesnt like drug tests..but mosely must take one!

If you ask me the true p4p king was cotto..untill he got beaten by a couple of cheaters..yeah, i said it.

LOL naaaaah. If there is a KO/TKO in that fight I'll say it comes from Pac (and I am rooting for Floyd). If they go to the scorecards I'll say Floyd glides to an UD.

floyds left hook is pretty tight..might just do the trick?

bottom line is these two guys are the best fighters in the divison. unfortunatly one of these fighters do like blood tests..who does like them?!

as if chicken livered mayweather will ever step into the ring with manny.
he's much too busy pulling guns on people at skating rinks, abusing his ex wife, and beating up guys in nightclubs w/ his posse. lol.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

The only thing that near KD exposed was PBF's greatness. Not going down exposed the pride of a champion and the remarkable willpower it takes to do that against a fighter whose punching power is a large reason why he'll be in the HOF.

Then the skill. You can almost see the man thinking. Hands go up in protective mode. He then stays close to Mosely, denying him the leverage needed to land pwer shots. He clenches when necessary but keeps that to a minimum. He's actually fighting. And he's doing this with a foggy brain.

As his regains composuire he then proceeds to stalk Mosley, which allows him to continue negating Mosely's power while dictating the pace of the fight. By the end of the round he appeared in charge. His domination form then on was predicatable.

People will rewrite history in light to the Pac fight, but at the time that PBF fought Mosley, the latter was a lb-4-lber coming off a brilliant performance and among the most avoided fighters in the sport. I didn't see Pac rushing out to fight him.

That near KD demonstrates how dificult PBF is to beat.

i'd hate to be in a room full of Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Hatton fans, cause it'd probably end up looking something like this...

both Mayweather and Pacquiao nutthuggers need to stop the bullshit, neither guy takes a fight unless they get their way (size of ring, purse percentage, venue, gloves, drug tests, catchweights, etc.), neither guy gives a fuck about his fans they just care about their paycheck, only positive thing i can say about either is behind the camera both do plenty to help others that have nothing to do with the sport

as for rick or whatever, it's easy to break down a dude's resume and discredit all he's done just cause you don't like the guy but Mayweather's record is just as loaded as Pacquiao's

IMO Ortiz shouldn't take a fight with Floyd, he's not ready for that yet and i'd rather have him work his way up, but on that same note Pacquiao fans shouldn't start ripping that fight to shreds when Bob Arum has already announced Judah as a possible opponent for Manny
