    Default Hopkins vs Pascal II

Not too much talk about this fight. I honestly don't know who to root for. I want Hopkins to win and make history because stuff like that doesn't come so often. Yet on the other hand, his pre-fight banter has been bothering me. I understand it might be a way to sell tickets but some of that stuff is just out of line. The racist stuff ("I will never lose to a whiteboy," McNabb not being "black" enough) or his promise to want to hurt/kill/knock someone out is really not even close to what he does in the ring.

Pascal needs to be in great shape and keep his activity level up cause I feel that's the way to beat Hopkins. Calzaghe didn't throw too many meaningful punches but he kept throwing. If you slow down or try to figure Hopkins out, it works to his advantage. I honestly don't see Pascal winning unless he continues to catch Hopkins and drop him numerous times or takes him out for good. If Hopkins stays on his feet and keeps himself from tasting canvas, he cruises to a UD.

Can't help but think Hopkins best chance of winning the title was in their first fight. I know it was a draw but, having not got the decision he should've, I feel the chance may have gone. I think Pascal will fight a totally different fight to the one he did last time and will win a UD this time around. He can't possibly be as poor as he was, from round four onwards, back in December. I reckon he will drop Hopkins again, too.

its in Canada rite..so the only way Hopkins wins is if he knocks Pascal out!!!...and that aint going to happen!!!....Pascal wins this on points or late round stoppage!!!

Couldn't care less who wins. But Hopkins really, once again, has a chance to make history. It doesn't happen that often.

Hope B hop wins but think they may give it to Pascal in a much closer fight.

Everytime Hopkins opens his garbage mouth, I either want to see him retire, or hope his opponent beats the shit out of him.

I believe Pascal fights his fight this time, probably gets another KD or 2, and wins a close, controversial, and/or ugly SD or UD in Montreal. Afterwards, Hopkins as usual will bitch about the decision and say he was robbed, but i'll either change channels or mute the sound.

I think fighters do or dont 'do' things in the ring as a direct result of there opponent rather then choosing. Honestly think Hopkins finds him more aggressive, navigates the early storm and counters the hell outta him, and forget about arrogance and riding 'name' like he's owed something, go for the tko late.

I give Hopkins credit for generating interest in this fight, as much as I dislike him, i've got to admit, as a 46 year old fighter/promoter, he's pretty amazing.

You only have to watch boxing for about five min's to know we are never getting rid of Hopkins ever ! He'll be the first guy to win a belt at 80 and still not mature enough to do it without starting some kind of race or global war . Pascal is crazy for not taking a draw and running but props to him for having balls ( Shane ) . B hop wins a decision easy and is the oldest blah blah blah . Dawson wins too

I would like to see Hopkins brutally KO'd just like I'd like to see Tarver brutally KO'd....but I doubt either ever happens.

I don't care who wins really. I just can't believe that the idiots at HBO signed Hopkins to a 3 fight deal. Did they forget about all his pathetic acting during his fight against RJJ last year? I swear some of the decisions HBO has been making lately has me really scratching my head.

I've always been a B-Hop fan. I even got sick of Pascals mouth for a while myself. But as of late he has been respectful to BHop and a class act.

My heart wants BHop to win but I see Pascal being the first one to KO BHop.

B hop is badass, and has proved everybody wrong numerous times. i hope he gets this win and rides off into the sunset a legend.
but pascal is a tough sumbitch, so it will be a good fight.
