    Default Diet Question

If you had to drop to 60kg from 70kg, what would be a good time to aim to achieve this in and more importantly what diet would you stick too? i'm sort of floating anywhere between 66 and 70 at the minute and want to have another crack at boxing i'm gona aim for lightweight. What meals should i be eating? There isnt a strict time limit on it but obviously the quicker the better without killing myself.

I dont want to just start eating less and eating more i want to stay strong and build muscle where i can.

If anyone knowledgable could throw some advice my way it would be appreciated.

No less than 10 weeks if you're looking to cut mass with out putting it straight back on.

If you're trying to sweat down it's a different story.

as far as diet is concerned

You should always start your day with fruits, make sure you ingest as many fruits as you can on an empty stomach

After i would put in a little work out, maybe a jog, nothing intense, come back and have your actualy breakfast, maybe some eggs or whatever you eat, stay away from processed breads and wheat products

for lunch and dinner make sure you stay way from red meat, and have seventy five percent of your plate be some kind of veggies to go along with either some fish or chicken

Make sure you drink plenty water and for snack in between eat peanuts of some sort(raw is better), you will see your energy levels skyrocket and weight will come off easier with excersise, and your stamina will see a huge increase, especially if you can avoid eating meats and starch in the same meal...eat meat with a salad and not with a side of rice or potato, or eat some potato with a side of salad and not meat...if you can accomplish this your on your way

    Good replies thanks.

My diet is pretty good, just need to make a couple of changes (meat not with potatoes sort of thing). I eat loads of fruit and veg and am relatively fit i think i just need to manage it a bit better. Not going to be killing myself to do the weight loss 10 weeks sounds good i reckon upping my training along with tweaking the diet i'll get it down to 8.
