    Default Basic boxing combos ?

    Hi !First of all i want to apologise for my bad rnglish. My gym its closesd for summer,so i wait until sptember come.I do some condision training because i want stay in good shape.I have a pull up bar and a heavy bag.My QUESTION IS ,how many days i can train with the bg and also i need some basics combos to practice on punching bag.thak you all!

    The most basic combination in boxing is the jab-straight right- left hook. That is the basis for everything else.

    1. THANKS!!!!YES you are right man!how you see this combos? i thing are very basics .But how i can start work with them?

    Hey Christos,

    Those combinations are fine mate.

    Keep things simple to start with - focus on technique rather than speed or power.

    Once you have mastered the basic punches / transitions, you can add:

    a) Head movement: i.e. Jab - slip right - right hand - roll.

    b) Foot movement: i.e. Jab - right hand - step forward jab.

    There are some very good demonstrations of all the basic skills (in isolation) you'll need to learn at the following link:

    Regarding how often to hit the bag:

    Seen as you are you new to boxing, to start with, I would aim for 2-3 sessions per week on the bag and 2-3 sessions shadow boxing.

    txanks mate! My problem its that i loose (because am accodent) 12 kilos.And now i know that i will take back this killos but i dont want to put any fat.Also some people told me to do weights for build muscle.But i dont want sacrifice boxing training for that i do only bodyweightd exercises as supplement in the end of my boxing routine.I do pull ups.chin ups,pushups ,jumb squats atc.You thing its ok?
