Default Rematches where you fully expected the opposite result

With all talk of Haye rematch with Klitschko - and no one really thinking it would turn out any differently - I was trying to think of fights , in my lifetime, where the heavy loser turned it round as expected. I'm not talking about fights that were won by close deicisions - there have been many of those, but where a guy has been kayoed or outclassed in a lopsided UD

How does the old quote go... 'knock a guy out and you'll knock him out even quicker in a rematch'.....

Only one I can think off is Lewis Rahman - I was disgusted with Lewis for his lazy arse performance in South Africa but at that rematch was 99.9999% certain he would destroy Rahman (ok i was still nervous as was a big fan). And he did. Same with McCall - was never concerned he would get lucky again (the cry baby)

I remember a lot of experts thinking Tyson would avenge the Holyfield loss but I never thought he would (ok I didn't expect the DQ !) . And I never thought MAB would win the Junior Jones rematch. Nor Moseley against Forrest. Nor Forrest against Mayorga (though i didn't think he would take him the distance)

So guys - any others out there ?

    watson v odonnell

i thought watson won the first quite clearly but never got the result, i thought the fight would go the same way with some better judging

I dont think Watson won it quite so clearly but he did get the descision

I thought JMM would beat Manny Wrong!

I thought Chuiquita would beat Carbajal. Right

I thought Jose Napoles would beat Backus. Right

    alright alright

Pavlik Beat taylor quite heavily in their first fight, but i thought taylor had the better of it for the most of the fight

therefore i thought he would have learned from the lesson second time round

i didnt "fully" expect him to win but i thought he would

    he never tho did he

Poor Richard Williams, if getting duffed-up once wasn't enough, against a future P4P star, they sent him back in to get beat even worse.

How about Brodie-Chi? Now not me personally, I was a big Chi fan, but all the talk for the rematch was about how Brodie had prepared better and knew what to expect. Err the complete opposite happens. Chi was the one that improved massively from the first fight and just beat the living fuck out of him.

At the time I thought Brodie could do no more than he did in the first fight, Chi could, and did
