is she martial arts star enough with those movies?
My partner - and she's a lady, make no mistake about it - really likes Kill Bill. I don't know why but she really like horror movies and Kill Bill came close to being one. It's a pretty gory movie.
I have not seen it yet but I have heard it is gory. I am a man and do not like too much violence.
The story is pretty good though, typical story of revenge but carried out in different way - in a samurai way. If you can stand the bloody scenes, it's worth watching.
Japanese and their obsession with suicide it must be a cultural thing.

2 days ago was his bday, neglected to post here. Best known as one of the best kickers from the 1970's and 80's in The Hot, the Cool and the Vicious as well as The Leg Fighters aka Invincible Kung Legs.

Posted a profile including a list of his famous students (one you may not believe!) and 2 video tributes to Master Tan!

My mistake I put this in the martial arts section when it should have been in the last movie see.

    Ban yourself ;-)

If there is anyone that could make a connection to martial arts and this film it could only be you. So think of something.

If it is to save you from banning yourself, I would for you mate! However, you give me TOO much credit LOL.

In full disclosure, I'm no a Spidey nor Supes fan. I didn't watch the Spidey movies, but did watch MOS sometime ago.

When Superman is fighting General Zod in their final fight, Superman was not really 'punches in bunches' - all of Superman's punches were what Bruce Lee called "Single Direct Attack", he has superspeed, he should be able to speed up his rhythm and throw a gazillion punches. Also Zod too. Movie fails on that front for me, however, if they fought at superspeed, we the viewers wouldn't even see them punching.

Superman threw an overhand right then a left shovel hook which Zod replies with a left 'ridge hand' to Superman's neck, and a followup right to the body which the force moves Superman back a few feet. To me boxing despite being a sport, is very useful and I call it a 'martial art'. However, Zod's 'ridge hand' is a genuine martial art technique

Check this vid, ~1:00 mark fight starts.

Did that help you not ban yourself Master? Hope so

Watched Shanghai Knights for the first time starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson which is fun caper. It also has Donnie Yen as a bad guy and they have a great fight scene in it.

Watched Dragon and it is a good and clever film. It was a bit gory and not child friendly but martial arts fights were brilliant.

The Man with the Iron Fist deliberately cliche film mixing martial arts, magic, western cowboys and rap. The exaggerated fights and ridiculous story line make it a fun movie.
