I'm a big fan of Johnson and I've actually picked him to get knocked out in his last two fights, but I think he'd give Bute all he could handle. He's a bigger, stronger, smarter version of Andrade and he specializes in wearing his opponents down.
I'd love to see this fight (and finally get to see Bute step up in class).
I think Johnson would put up a better fight than the shot Pavlik
Damn, Johnson has lost two world title challenges in his last three fights. Boxingbantz will go mad when he sees this...
Johnsons a toughnut but why not fight kessler, then (if he wins?!) the super six winner?! bout time he got in with the best in the division
Not a bad fight until the S6 raps up. I would much rather see Bute-Kessler though. I would expect Johnson to give a good performance but end up losing in a decision.
Well apparently it'll be Pavlik, the Press in Canada just announced that Pavlik vs Bute was a done deal for november, either in Quebec or Montreal: Cano - Sports - Bute affrontera Pavlik au Qubec

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
He's always mostly been like that though, thats why he's lost alot of close decision's. Because he isn't flashy and most of his work is workman like.
It's not because he needs to hang em up, i mean he basically fought on even terms with Tavoris Cloud, Chad Dawson 1, there two top Light Heavyweights.
And he gave a very good account of himself vs Carl Froch, especially considering he hadn't fought at Super Middleweight in years.
I don't think he's showed any real sign's that he needs to hang em up, he always entertains me. And he obviously loves what he's doing, so let the guy carry on he's genuine class act.
Bute fighting another cast off which Froch has already beat, he should at least fight Kessler.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
