Default James Kirkland vs Alfred Angulo set for November 5th!

FIGHTHYPE \\ ALFREDO ANGULO AND JAMES KIRKLAND FACE OFF ON NOVEMBER 5 IN CANCUN

This was actually a pretty good fight years ago, and still is now. We'll see how Kirkland looks back with Wolfe, he looked good last time out but it was against a bum so we'll see. One of these guys is getting knocked out. Whats your thoughts on this fight?

Angulo has a better chin for sure, and better boxing skills.

But, Kirkland is explosive, a lil faster and the better athlete.

I figure it will be a shoot out for 2 or 3 rounds. Maybe less.

Have to favor Angulo as Kirkland is coming off a shocking loss, can't count James out though.

Kirkland is a proven square bar room brawler with tenacity and can be hurt with 'fast' punches. Angulo is the far better trained up professional and improved boxer. Great punch selection.

I got Angulo inside of 3

Theres a few clips on youtube of Kirkland sparring and in my eyes theyve been put there to try to disprove that Kirklamd is shit

Theres one where hes fighting a bigger man but well out of shape and Kirkland is off loading some big shots and Wolfe actualy says something to the camera along the lines of "and people say he has no chin, this is a heavyweight!". Another one hes sparring a white bloke in a black vest and he stuns him and carries on trying to KO him. Wolfe lets it carry on for a while and I think the main reason she eventually stops it is because although Kirkland is throwing everything at him, he just cant get him off his feet and given her stupid grin at the end I think she is more embarrased that Kirklannd cant drop a hu opponent than thinking of the opponents welfare!

I dont know why they are taking the fight because Kirkland has only done 3 rounds against bums since he was starched. As a trainer id like to have sen him againstba couple of survivors to check his stamina if nothing else. Angulo will batter him.

    haha

Sounds like Wolfe is a trainer with a lot of integrity who clearly cares for her fighter's well being in there.

We all know that you are supposed to try to knock each other out in sparring.

I had no idea Kirkland had fought since that noble fellow of Japanese descent stopped him.

I know. Might as well try and cash him out before he catches another case

I know I wanna see it on HBO B.A.D. Nov. 5th.
"Perro" should take care of business in Cancun, Mexico, and I don't believe having Ann Wolfe in his corner will make any difference for Kirkland.
Kirkland showed a weak chin and/or some chinks in his armor in his last fight, which ain't good against a tough hombre like Angulo, El Perro by KO within 6 rounds.

I really hope Kirkland gets KO'd again like the Nobuhiro Ishida fight!

Hard to ignore Kirkland ate flush punches from Julio and was undeterred like Angulo.

I feel like Angulo is a bit overrated

    Good point.

And Brian Vera clocked him as well, and he can crack.

Just seems like Kirkland's chin ain't the same after he came outta the joint.

Some unknown drunken Columbian fighter rocked the shit out of Kirkland in his fight right before he fought that noble skilled fine upstanding citizen of Japanese heritage.

I see people overlooking Kirkland already but he's not going to get blown out in 3,4,5 rounds..

I spoke to Kendall Holt and Ji Hoon Kim the other day and they agree with me that Ann Wolfe is a major asset in Kirkland's camp and her absence was one of the main reasons why he's been looking so poor.. It's obvious.. Wolfe puts her fighters through these fuckin hell trainings that the Navy Seals would be proud of but Kirkland was missing that for awhile.. Not only was his timing off due to inactivity but his conditioning wasnt up to par and nothing positive can come out of that.. But now that he's back to the roots, Angulo has got a real fight on his hands.. Im more of a Angulo fan but if ya think that he's going to walk over Kirkland, think again..

I hope the bookies fuck up on this one..

Kirkland seems to be on a slide since he got out of the pen, if Ann Wolfe had been back working with Kirkland for a few fights before facing Angulo, she 'might' have made a difference, but as it is, I don't see her being much of a factor Nov. 5th.. BTW, I also don't see why Wolfe is considered a top trainer, who the fuck has she successfully trained besides Kirkland?

I'm thinking again, and I see the same result, El Perro stops Kirkland within 6 rounds in Cancun, Mexico.

James will look good early on but his wild style will fall short vs Angulo... Mid-Way TKO for Angulo.
