Default Which Referees Allow Inside Fighting VS Those Who Do Not??

Are the professional referees in today's boxing actually incompetent compared to the old school of years past? Do they allow clinching for example? Do any even understand what that is? It seems to me that many referees seem amateur, that they break up fighters too quickly...

Action makes for great fights, and great fights = $.

The sport is ultimately dying, you have to have action / knockouts to make a great fight. Fans don't want to watch a clinch fight all night, they want to see knockouts. More fans = more money.

I would liken it to Nascar races, most people are more interested in the wrecks then the race!

I will be a master at clinching.Believe me when you see me fight and do it.Grabbing and spinning my opponent like Benny Leonard.Or cross parrying like Henry Armstrong. The thing is i need a referee to allow it and recognize that i'm not actually HOLDING.This is what worries me.So again, which referees out there allow clinching? Jay Nady? LoL
