THC stays in your system for something like a month, so he probably just smoked some during training.

I can't imagine smoking weed before a fight, i'm pretty sure I wouldn't feel much like fighting, that's for sure.
It depends on how frequently he smokes it. For a regular smoker, it can stay in the system for 30 - 45 days. But how would I know, I never touched the stuff.
Pothead or occasional smoker will stay on their hair follicle for life.
That's not true, it's just detectable for longer. Wiki says 30-90 days.

It was probably in the contract. Bradley was worried that the over 40 stipulation was not enough so he added a mandatory weed smoking clause (plus Casamayor was not allowed to do abdominal work during training) in order to remove any possibility of getting hit.

Yup, UNLESS you cut your hair

I don't see the big deal, though. Nick Diaz has said he smokes weed every single day and the guy runs triathalons and has more endurance than every single person he fights. It's like alcohol in the sense that they're both bad for you and yeah, if that's all you do, then you're going to be headed nowhere fast. You gotta have balance, just with anything else in life.

I wonder what kind of reefer Casa smokes, I would imagine he gets some of that really good stuff.

I don't smoke pot, but I don't see it as a big deal and it's ridiculous that a fighter would have his purse withheld because he smoked a fucking joint a month ago. It's certainly not going to enhance anybodies performance.

I agree, that it's ridiculous, but however fucked up it is, it's the rules, and you really don't know how long ago it was when he smoked the reefer, it could have been a few days before the fight. Stupid move by Casa, but I hope they don't withhold his purse.

All those commas gave me flashbacks of Trainer Monkey. Are you in the "buis"?

I don't disagree with what you say, I just think it's a stupid rule. Taking someone's money over it is just downright slimy.

I don't think there is an exact blueprint on how herb effects as a whole, not the same across the board. It def is something that alters the senses etc but not all pot heads have cheeto stained forearms and sit on the couch all day.

On enhancing I have no clue in regards to boxing but I've found, in the past, that it did in fact highten awareness and there was nothing like puffing up and then rolling on the sheets with a girly. Horns you up something fierce yeh. Used to throw down like a scene outta Quest for fire.

Yes Tyson got caught for the same offence as well when he fought against Golata in 2000. Tyson beat him in 2 rounds busted up Andrew’s skull if I remember rightly. There is a link between marijuana and mental illness so it should not be taken lightly.

Blame my high school sweetheart for all the commas, she has a masters degree in english, and told me I didn't use enough commas.

We got together a few years ago, after sending each other e-mails for about 6 months, we hadn't seen each other for 40+ years.

Did anyone see the documentary about Kassim Ouma called Kassim The Dream? It shows him smoking weed while training for his fight with Taylor, and he talks about smoking it all the time, so how the hell does he pass his tests?

I have seen people blame it on second-hand smoke.

Looks like he was taking the wrong substance, he should hire Alex Ariza.
