I'm sure many North Koreans will be at home enjoying a celebratory glass of soju, but it will just mean a new short, big head looking to hoard it all to himself in future. North Korea is a disgusting regime and it is appalling how it was allowed to emerge. I find the attitudes of many South Koreans to be appalling too. I think there was a survey done that showed people viewed the US as a bigger enemy than North Korea. As much as I dislike US foreign policy, even I wouldn't go that far.
At least he won't be ronery any more.
His regime is among the worst in the world. I wonder if this could be an opportunity for change? Kim Jong Eun now? Seriously, he is 29 years old with barely any background in international politics. Imagine if he had to be diplomatic with a major country. It's retarded. This is the time when international groups should take more action on the underground level to effect change there. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/20/wo...agewanted=2&hp
Good! I wonder who's the next asshole will take his place.
What a gleat regacy he reft
To be honest, I don't know if his chosen son could do any worse than what Kim Jong Il has done. I find the notion that someone of 29 just won't have the 'diplomatic' skills of someone who is say 49 quite ridiculous. This is politics and not rocket science. Practically anyone with a brain can be an effective ruler of a nation. In the examples of modern American you have mentally degraded actors and illiterate former booze hounds easily filling the role. Jong Eun has been molded for a couple of years now, it was always going to be. Not that I agree with any of it, but I wouldn't write him off that easily.
Was he ill ?
