    Default Top Gear

No not the car show, or nose fuel or any other drugs. What fashion perennials do you think stand the test of time ? Is there anything you wore in your youth that you still do or would wear now ? Women seem to change there outfits every week and sometimes in a day but most geezers love a classic. What are yours. Hows about
The addidas Samba a classic trainer from the 1980's, best in blue suede I still wear mine now sometimes

The Fred Perry polo shirt or Ralph Lauren if your a bit flush

    A pair of Leve 501's

    A Harrington Jacket

and a good old pair of Dr Marten boots

Ha! I see what you mean. I don't actually wear all these together or own them all at the same time. I do like my threads and I suppose I am a bit Moddish but really it's just stuff that in it's way is timeless.

Never owned Samba trainers but loads of my friends have, or the Doc Martens which would come useful when kicking someone in the head.

Yeah I don't wear doc's anymore but love me trainers. I have always loved me clothes and been quite adventurous and stylish to make up for my ugly mug. The top gear I listed where really just an example of British design classics (except the 501's) that have stood the test if time. Guys like Paul Smith and British Tailoring have managed to retain that reputation.

I'm like my clothes I probably end up buying a new piece of clothing every week which isn't good because I can't afford it! I recently got a pair of Levi's but there not 501's there 511..skinny que the insults!

I would like to get a Fred Perry polo shirt but there a bit pricey so I'll have to wait until I can afford one. I also like the doc martins but I could never see myself wearing them plus I already have a couple pairs of different boots.

Actually obviously the trainers aren't British either. I have come to the conclusion that I am full of krap.
