Default Star Trek v Star Wars

Which do you prefer, are you a Trekkie or do you prefer the laser sword.

I like the both but I would have to say, a Trekkie.

Star Wars all the way, in my mind episodes I, II and III never happened.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I see it the other way around, the old movies look dated.

Same with the Star Treck franchise liked the new generation and hated William Shatner shagging different aliens.

Original Star Wars films were quality, much better than the newer films with huge budgets and technology, they cost £80 to make , blue peter done the sets, and the costumes came from dodgy charity shops ,but it was class.

Agreed! Star Wars is great! I was a huge Boba Fett fan until they changed his voice to be a God damned Kiwi from New fucking Zeland!!!

He sounded more 'Dirty Harry' in the original

I always thought the next Star Wars movies should have been completely retooled movies unrelated to the originals...perhaps a more indepth view into the bounty hunters

Which tells you which one I preferred.

I enjoyed Voyager when Seven started appearing in it but did not get into the other franchises like Deep Space 9 etc.

Next Generation was about the only Star Trek I really enjoyed, Jean Luc Picard was far better at playing the Captain than Shatner ever was.

The Original Star Wars was amazing. I had all the toys when I was a kid, the x-wing fighter, AT-AT, Millenium Falcon etc.

If I were to choose between them, then Star Wars wins

You had the AT-AT?!?! You lucky bastard! I had the Millenium Falcon & X-wing Fighter, but other than that I just had the action figures.

Star Trek just seemed so boring when I was a kid, of course now as an adult I can see the draw of it, but Star Wars was so much better, much more action, cooler characters too.

Star Trek......dude, that's Capt. Kirk right there

Star Trek TNG is an ATG.

I couldn't really ever get into Star Wars.

Star Trek isnt Trekky anymore, its as if the latest series has been hijacked for Political propaganda ends much more than Voyager or STNG

Mandalorian is the most Star Wars content since the first 3 Star Wars movies.

I found this re-imagined Darth Vader - Obi Wan Kenobi battle. I was surprised how good it was.
