I think its a good fight to make, very winnable for Marquez & beat the man that beat Morales!

Good choice. Better then the Paul guy. Or the Geca(whatever his name is). I'll even like to see JMM vs Judah. That way if JMM beat judah(IF), and he can't get Pacman by years end, the winner of Khan vs Peterson 2 vs JMM would be great.
Sorry but I want JMM to whip the shit out of Rios because Rios has earned a grown man style beat down and JMM is just the dude to hand it to him!
I think Garcia is mediocre and boring. No interest in seeing him get a shot at JMM -- and it's not a close fight at all.
Garcia should fight Mike Alvarado. He will lose that fight and then we can forget about him again. And Mike gets a title. Win-win.
Agreed with Shza, Garcia doesn't impress me either really, I don't see how he'd even give JMM much of a fight. He might beat Alvarado though imo, although Mike is a lot more fun to watch. Judah or the loser of Peterson-Khan would also be logical opponents but I think all 3 of those guys beat Garcia.
As far as current events it could be ok but as far as styles it could be a long drawn out night with lots of coffee needed. Garcia waits around too long. I thought he did alot better vs Morales than most but this particular "old man" is still very viable and comes in fit and top form, respects to Morales

I see Garcia beating Alvarado
Wouldn't mind seeing Marquez whip Rios & it probably makes the most business sense, just don't want Rios to get the opportunity or deserves it after his performance against Abril
By beating Garcia; Marquez unifies two parts which will help in bargaining for a shot at the Khan/ Peterson winner, he stays active against a young, tough, undefeated 140 pounder in what should be a relatively easy fight
Don't really see Judah as relevant for Marquez

I think this is a closer fight than y'all are thinking. I favour Marquez but its plain to see that he does BY FAR his best work when dealing with aggressive come forward types. Garcia is more of a counter puncher type who can mix it up a little.
If I were Marquez's people I would only ever put him in with come forward fighters as
A - It works to Marquez's skills.
B - Makes for quality fun fights
Putting Marquez in with Garcia isnt a very good style or entertainment match up, I wouldnt make that fight and I dont think they will either.
Khan, Peterson and Rios are all much better fights.
