    Hadn't seen this bit in years, I'm quite a fan of Carlin. He's dead on the money here imo, environmentalism is such a religion and completely self defeating.

    ....uh huh....that's fine, but when I'm for less government you say that's bad. You want more regulation and think that's good, but what George Carlin has said is basically "It doesn't matter". It doesn't matter what you think the government should do and private industry should do because "those in power" are going to get their way regardless, it doesn't matter if you think you're smart because "those in power" will sink you like a stone and none of the sheeple will pay attention to you.....a very cynical way to view things. As for Social Security, I'm planning like I'm never going to get it anyway.

    To be honest id never heard of the guy until Saturday .

    The guy is pretty epic.

    Cynical he might be - but he shares my view at least over bureaucracy.
