Default Froch vs Benn, Eubank, Collins, Calzaghe

I think that Froch would've beaten Benn and would've been too active for a 'post Watson' Eubank. 'Pre Watson' Eubank would've been very interesting.

Froch vs Collins would've been a war of attrition, but again I would see Froch winning

    Calzaghe would've UD'd Foch imo.

I would have said all of this, before Saturday as well.

Of day if Calzaghe fought froch he would retire straight away due to froch hurting him do bad that he wouldn't be the same again but would get the win in a majority decision

Benn - this would've possibly been one the greatest fights in Brit history. Benn wins by TKO.

Eubank - a SD either way.

Collins - a MD either way.

Calzaghe - It would've been very reminiscent of the Bute fight. Overrated, protected, glass-chinned, scared to leave home southpaw against rough-and-ready, teak tough, world traveling warrior. Froch TKO 3. Fact.

    @ Fenster.

I think Calzaghe would've likely beaten all of them, but as for the other 4 anything could've happened on the nights. I'd envision Froch having a better chance to beat any version of Eubank than the Benn who fought McLellan upon second thought, however. Collins imo wasn't quite on the same level as any of the others, though his style would match up very well with Froch so can't rule him out there.

Froch and Benn would have been savage, hard to imagine both men wouldn't have been badly hurt at some point. My first take was that Benn probably wasn't durable enough to beat Froch, but he was sooo dangerous while being attacked and probably hit a good deal harder, perhaps moreso than anyone Froch has fought as well.

    Exactly

Calzaghe - I think JC slaps his way to a UD or SD. Froch can be outboxed if you're mentally strong.

Eubank - Pre-Watson I think Eubank takes a split decision. He was very durable. Just wonder whether he'd be active enough..but Froch has the same.problem.

Benn - Froch TKO. He may need to start a little faster..but he'll stand up to Benns shots..Benn won't stand up to his.

    Collins - Froch UD.

Calzaghe might come out of retirement - How fucking huge would JC vs Froch be now?!

Who saw Calzaghe on Ringside last week?, you know he's thinking about!

He knows CF is starting to build a great legacy and he's worried he won't be remembered as the best SMW to come out of Britain.

Just remember you read it here first

If I was froch I'd tell joe to get stuffed the same way joe did to Carl!!
    Holding grudges is a must!!
Froch is on to bigger things than Calzaghe.
If I were Eddie I'd say joe you must fight ward and if you win then we get a huge unification at wembley

Calzaghe must be almost 40 by now? He relied on his fitness to compete and obviously had admitted to using cocaine and having some troubles coming to grips with being out of the sport. To come back after that and fight Froch without any tune ups strikes me as insane, but I suppose it's possible he's been keeping himself in great shape.

Joe beats them all at their best.
Benn was really a middlewight but imagine the Benn that beat McClellan fought Froch, that would be a war.
Eubanks at his best would beat Froch but that guy was gone after he beat Watson.
Collins is not in the same league with all due respect.

Calzaghe would surely need a warm up, it would create more interest if he came back with an easy win or 2. I can imagine the chats in the pub now....

Calzaghe is done. He was done against B-Hop and Jones. He knows it and has admitted it. No way he comes back now - not a chance!!!

No evidence to suggest anybody can KO Froch. He's had one flash knockdown in his career and got up claerly not hurt.

I would say Benn is a much more lethal puncher than anyone Carl has fought, but your point stands of course. It would be epic to see Froch against a truly devestating puncher, because basically anyone who fights him lands their best shot at some point.
