Got a feeling it will be a tight match with Spain playing no strikers. Innesta is brilliant.

When Spain play like this they are a joy to watch, England are light years away
    from playing football like that.

Spain were brilliant. Completely tore Italy apart. The run from Jordi Alba and the pass into him from Xavi for their second goal is about as good as it gets.

The worrying thing is they did that without David Villa and without playing a striker for the most part. And Torres won the golden boot

Yep, eveytime Torres came on he had so many chances. They struggled to find the final pass without a striker and ended up trying to walk/pass the ball into the net. With a fit David Villa
    it would've been frightening.

They didn't miss Puyol either, considering they only conceeded 1 goal in the whole tournament.

I have criticized them, but last night was a masterclass against what is a very good Italian team.

England might as well send their youngsters 2014 world cup because they will not get near Spain who will make an historic 4th victory. Spain are so brilliant they make Torres look good when they allow him on the pitch.

Didn't France win the world cup with Djorkaef up front... Not too dissimilar.

Spain are just brilliant. Would love to see them vs Brazil or Argentina.

Don't follow football much but where was this great at last tornemant? He looked like he couldn't be bothered.

Is he only a great when he's not playing for england?
I have to hold my hands up here @AdamGB it seems all the promise he had has a teenager evaporated at each successive international tournament. Shame after what was a really good season for his club.

It's what puts me off football, English players in particular. I don't doubt he has talent but the whole culture that gets these guys seems to kill any hunger a lot of them have.
