Flash a red laser around the room and watch it chase it down. Good way to tire it out.

I use the same trick with little children.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
You are very forgiving mate after he trashed your house:-) Animals are entertaining though, our cat is bombed out even at 12 she chases non existent stuff like the reflection of your watch on the wall. When we got her as a kitten she had a sister and for about 2 years they had the best fights, hiding and ambushing each other.
We've got puppies at the minute and they are brilliant!
The "laser tag" game works quite well with humans, too. In the late 80s I was working at night in a building in a less than upscale area of San Diego, and got to shining a laser out the window and onto the sidewalks, and the people on the sidewalks (at 3a.m.) below.
there really aren't many differences between people and puppies, in some regards.
We sold the last puppy today. Wife cried, kids cried, I cried on the inside.
After I dropped her off to her new house I was in mourning for hours. Really miss that little pup.
Thankfully we have kept one, but it shame the rest are all gone.
I have a pen light on the key chain and caught the cat the other day. He went from 4 yrs to 4 weeks old in a second, running around jumping around like a spaz and fell sideways right off the stairs, eyes all ""
