Thank you very much, now I know what I will stay up studying tonight.
How do these work exactly? Doesn't proprioreception have something to do with plyometrics or a form of stretching?
Simply its your balance mechanics, Feet to Ear. Whats happening here is, this young Man is moving whats underneath Him, His base. Where in movement what moves you, is the Floor. So the Body is working overtime to compensate, to correct the Bodies Balance mechanics. Ive taken it a step further. This Kid is a very talented Soccer Player, and been doing this stuff a while, easy it isnt, but it transfers to any discipline in Sport. Everything is working.

Great stuff scrap.
Balance and relative feeling is KEY to all.... As you are very well aware.
Also, one's proprioception is vital at touch... To see with one's body. One's feeling truly IS faster than the human eye.
Cheers man.... I dig your work!!!
The True Master... Is the Eternal Student.
I did a couple of these with one of my amateur fighters yesterday... He said "I love this!" - he thought it was extremely difficult but not impossible so as he adapted and got better it motivated him to continue trying. I was only able to impliment a couple of the exercises due to lack of comparable equipment. None the less - Thank you for adding debth to my training regimen.

Scrap - I had one of my Open and more experience boxers do this work and he was way worse at it then my novice fighter. I was extremely surprised how much parody there was between, but it is the complete opposite in the ring in regards to balance and speed.
My open fighter was so pissed off that he sucked at the rolling balance tube and he didn't understand why because in the ring he is one of my more balanced and experienced fighters. As he cussed through an hour of practice, i told him to stop and just stretch because he was terrible at it and getting mad the whole time, he yelled out "NO, ONE MORE TIME" hahahaha ...
