Enjoy !!
Been meaning to bring this up. There were alot of little things about this show that I wanted to get some comments on as I found them to be telling of Floyd's new deal with Showtime. Floyd is holding every card for this entire promotion and it looks like thats going to be the new norm while he is at Shwotime, here are the things I picked up:
Does any of this mean anything?? No I dont really think so, Guerrero will have plenty of time to train for the fight however that gun charge is something that has to be on his mind everynight. Thats gotta be hard to look past when you're trying to focus on the biggest fight of your career.
- Common is the narrator. He did a great job and while I cant even think of who else they would have for it, I think its telling of the control Floyd has on the show that they went with someone completely new to narrarating. On top of that the actual commentary seems to have been scripted heavily to glorify Floyd.
- Robert Guerrero was sent on a mission to promote that fight. The fight was going to sell itself regardless so why he needed to do a 7 city tour is weird. Floyds comments about Robert having to promote and "earn his stripes" gave me the feeling that promoting the fight was part of his contract to get the fight, this obviously keeps him out of the gym while Floyd was shown working out from dusk till dawn.
- Floyd Mayweather was listed as executive producer - Again this entire series of All Access shows will all be heavily favored to give Floyd the platform to push whatever he wants to push in terms of promoting the fight.
Thoughts?

Mayweather is a major douche. and yes, this whole show favors floyd ridiculously. they should rename it the "let's suck floyds asshole for 30 minutes show!" and floyd saying all his fights have been easy is sickening. he didnt fight pacman in his prime, williams, martinez and many more great fighters. all opponents were hand picked. and BTW, Mayweather/Castillo 1 was a robbery!!! Floyd lost that first fight for sure!!! funny how he forgets about that one.
I pray to the boxing gods that robert will put a beating on this arrogant pud.
pacman didnt want to take the random tests then he had back to back loses so its not all floyds fault it works both ways, williams and martinez are you serious these guys come fight night weight 170lbs + floyd got no business fucking with guys this big and finally the may/cas 1 was so close i had floyd just winning but it was very close it was no robbery and a good performance from a 1 handed floyd. You hate on floyd so bad its actually really funny
I hope Guerroro busts him up at least.

Just cant see that happening. When the fight was first annouced I thought Robert had a good chance of making it an ugly fight and having a chance ala Andre Berto but thinking twice about it now I really cant see if happening.
If Robert gets close Floyd is going to ruin him inside not to mention the shots Robert will take on his way in. Being the naturally smaller man at this point Robert will definitely feel Floyd's shot and that will discourage him from attempting to move in to keep it close, at that point Floyd will pick him apart and win a UD.
I expect Robert to take serious damage and it will be quite visible at the end of the night. I think it'll be an easier fight for Mayweather than the Cotto fight, cant wait to see how it all progresses.

I love how so many people hate on Floyd...yet we all tune in to watch these kind of shows largely because of him. Love him or hate him...he makes these series entertaining. He is the reason 24/7 became what it is...and that show has NEVER been as good when he is not one of the featured fighters on it. What should All Access focus on?! Guerrero's dazzling personality and intense love of God?!
I agree with Andre. Plus these 24/7 things are boring now. Floyd talks some trash, Floyd goes to KFC, Floyd hugs his Dad. Who really gives a flying fuck about any of this? I haven't watched this and the only thing that matters is the fight, though really even that has no great significance. Floyd will never fight two tough men his own size on the trot.
May 4, 2013 is the date, #Mayday
I use to really like the 24/7 especially the Margarito and Pacquiau one as that was my first. However looking back at them they are over dramatised and really do not have any real value as they have been saturated. If they were special fights once a year they would be better. They always try to show the fight from a certain angle with the Pacquiau one they were making out he was not training for Margarito.

They are all just entertainment, I watch them and look forward to all of them. I really like how Showtime has them on Wednesdays to break up the week.

I'll find a stream for the fight, but I have no interest in watching All Access: Mayweather or anything but the fight.
