Eight track cartridges. Also known as Stereo 8 in the U.S I think. Sort of the precursor to cassette tapes. My Grandad had one in his Capri and I can remember him and My Grandma in her pinstripe jeans thinking they were the bees knees. Which they were.

in back in the 70's

I loved this when I was 9, used to watch it every week with my dad.

Just watched it again, not bad for an oldie they build the tension well dudes inthe orchestra pit working over time .

I was on the tail end on 8 tracks...they were built like you could run them over with the car and they'd still play

Cassettes...one day I'll actually get rid of these two duffle bags full of relics You could actually 'repair' cassettes...felt like f'n MacGyver if you wanted to save it bad enough
