Always knew Kell was just short for Kelley.
Lol at thread title, I know some brits are big on brook but I really think this is his level, borderline worldclass but not quite. I know jones was probably not motivated but some domestic level dude on short notice fought him to a draw, arguably won, and brook did basically same thing...but goes much the same as first go round I guess.
Brook is world class, he has a bundle of everything, speed, power, skill and he's exciting to watch.
He'll transfer well to the USA.
Shame about his injuries, he was close to years on ringside a few weeks back because of it.
He deserves his world title fight.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
If brook is world class he will stop jones or at the very least 120-108 him - he should not be having close fights with someone at Carson's level at the peak stage of his career if he is anything special
Brooks will beat Jones this time more convincingly, he was unlucky with injuries.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Don't mean to insult any of his fans but he does not seem to have the noggin to compete above the B level. I'm sorry but I just don't by the back to back injuries. First the fight was postponed and then canceled and then once Purdy is a done deal he then announces this fight just two months after the original date with Devon. Many trainers say that boxing is 95% mental and especially ay the elite level.
Brook imo is another example of that fact. You can have all the talent in the world but unless you are mentally savvy you wont be able to cut it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Not sure that's a good measuring stone since carson drew with that five day replacement. Devon whilst not pleasing to watch and in my eyes lost all his big fights prior to maidana(kotelnik, matthyse, bradley) he has been in there with far better opposition, maidana is basically a carson jones on steroids.

Lol awesome thread title
I definitely don't buy the first two injuries, one from either fighter, that was promoter led IMO maybe due to poor ticket sales and trying to buy a little time. And to be honest, wouldn't surprise me if Brooks 2nd injury was a mask too. Maybe the fight just wasn't selling ANY tickets at all.... Alexander can't draw flies to shit and nobody in the US really knows who Kell is. That was a bad match up in terms of making any money. Maybe they just sacked the whole thing if it wasn't going to make a big loss at the gates. it went from top of the bill to undercard to gone in the space of two months.
