Default Proksa vs. Mora close for June 28th on ESPN FNF

Grzegorz Proksa vs. Sergio Mora in Play For June 28 - Boxing News

Real crossroads type fight. Mora is horrible to watch but to be fair to him his chin is pretty solid so I don't see him getting stopped. Proksa can be outhustled as Kerry Hope proved so it could be an interesting fight. Can't see either of them maing any real noise at 160 though.

Proksa got this. Winning a mill on the contender series was actually the worst thing that happened for Mora's career cuz he lost his hunger quick.

    MOra sucks

I dunno man, he went on to upset Vernon Forrest for a World Title. There was nothing wrong with his hunger in that fight.

Proska put forth a heroic effort against GGG and took a violent beating. First time I'd ever seen or heard of him tho.
Mora is also very tough, and not as slick as he used to be.
Should be a good fight, I'll pick Proska as I dont' care for Mora.

I'll say it again, as a promoter, Hearns has done at best an odd job with Proksa, at worst, a bad job with him. He matches him with Golovkin, who is tough for anyone, in a non-title fight. He then matches him with Mora, who gives everyone he fights trouble, and is impossible to look good against. Compare it with Barker who is getting a title fight with Geale.

I like Proksa, but Mora is tricky. I really don't see the logic here at all. Proska better be on his game that night. I might lean toward Mora in an ugly decision.

It'll be good exposure for Proska and he should do well against Mora. Moras terrible, he really shouldn't have gotten the 1st dec against an almost one armed Forrest, RIP champ, and really hes done natas except increase sales at Mattress Direct since.

He also drew with Shane Mosley in a fight many feel he won, albeit by spoiling.

Why not? He deserved the win. Forrest being hurt I'm sure affected the fights outcome. But it doesn't change the fights outcome

Absolutely agree with @Violent Demise. I had Mora winning a close but clear fight. If memory serves, Forrest didn't really cry robbery either, just told him to check the contract for the rematch clause.

I think Mora's slippery enough to win a decision over Proksa.

Cause I didn't think he did enough to deserve a win. Moras 15 minutes ran all of three months and he's been doing nothing but spoiling and nursing it along.

I dare say the opposite is true for his fight with Mosley, many in fact thought Mosley won the fight, you only have to check with the fightscore collection blog to confirm.

I remember thinking Mora had edged it when I watched it and I recall seeing many others say the same. It was a horrible fight though.

Anyone else excited for this fight? It will be a chess match, but I think it's a big crossroads fight for both guys. Mora wins and he is back in the picture, same for Proksa.
