Now that the LIV Tour exists, it pretty much invalidates any PGA major tournament win any golfer might get. Reason being some pro golfers have defected over to the other side. So PGA winners aren't playing against the best playing field.
That sucks for Tiger Woods, who is stuck at 15 career major wins, 3 behind golf GOAT Jack Nicklaus.
Not that it matters anyway. In today's 1st round of the British Open, one of PGA's major tournaments, Tiger struggled home with a 6 over par... tied for 146th, and way the hell back from the 1st round leaders.
So while it's commendable that Tiger came back from life-threatening injuries to be playing major golf, he's no longer a threat to the Golden Bear.
Nice.

Tiger Woods withdraws before completing 3rd round of Masters
Tiger looks out of shape.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
He's old (47), and honestly has never fully recovered from his car accident a couple of years ago. I suspect he'll retire in the "not-so-distant" future... and join the Senior Tour like most other professional golfers do.
To me he'll always be 2nd best, to the true GOAT of golf... Jack Nicklaus.
But Tiger's been one of the all-time greats. No denying that.
Jon Rahm did not look in great shape and won.
Rory McIlroy has not won an Open for ages and never won the Masters. He is useless.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Come on, he’s not useless is he?

Phil Mickelson TIED FOR SECOND??
Damn... the guy's 52 years old. I mean... I know golf isn't exactly a strenuous sport. But still... Mickelson coming THAT close at that age is truly remarkable. To me, he's one of the ATG's of golfing.
Pretty likable guy, too... unlike Tiger.
