Unfortunately for him... he'll never be good enough to even carry the Golden Bear's jock.

He may not pass him on majors but he already has on PGA victories and may pass Snead for #1 before the season is up. Why the hate though? I don't necessarily root for him but considering I usually only tune into PGA on Sunday if there is a chance for some drama I like when Tiger is playing well and in the hunt. Makes for better entertainment.

In 2006, while drinking Bud Lite and Jack Daniels in my friend's garage, I predicted the collapse of Tiger Woods. I also predicted his 'comeback', which is only the precursor to the final collapse. So far he hasn't been in the lead of a major on the last day, choked horribly and lost. That will finish him off.

He's 37, the world no.1, there's four majors a year, he virtually never misses a cut. Good luck laying him to never win another major. He'll be favourite for years to come yet

Woods has at least another 8 years to win majors, and he will get at least another couple.

Here's an interesting tidbit of information when comparing Woods to Nicklaus:

Another Way to Compare Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus | Golf Channel

Not only 18 major wins, but 19 major 2nd place finishes. Nineteen!
Woods, on the other hand, has 6.

Like the author says, that could be taken different ways. But still.... top 2 in 37 lifetime majors?
    That is one incredible feat.

Regardless, even if Woods passes Nicklaus on the majors list... he'll never measure up in every other way. Nicklaus was a true sportsman... a gentleman. Woods is a sore loser, whose hypocritical personality makeover lasted exactly half a tournament when he came back from his sex scandal.

Thats cool man. I don't follow golf real close. I did find the infidelity to be pretty disgusting but outside of that I don't really follow his actions off the golf course.

Thing is... I used to root for Woods. I've always liked having someone in my lifetime or generation that breaks all kinds of records and stuff like that. But that all changed when Woods came back from his scandal at the Masters tournament. One minute he's highfiving fans and kissing babies... and the next he's pouting about not winning the tournament and not giving Mickelson, who did win it, his just due. He's just the worst kind of sports hypocrite.

Yup, it's real easy to be classy and gracious when you're winning all the time.

You get to see people's true colors when adversity kicks up.

How can a person who is second in the all time list for major wins be a choker ?

I don't recall having called him a choker. In fact, he's anything but. He'll just never be the GOAT and will have to settle for 2nd place in that particular race. He's not a choker. He's just an ass.

I believe he's the best player of all time (Tiger Woods). Because Nickolaus played at time when Woods would not have been allowed to play on golf courses and from 2000-2005. He took gold to a new level

Wrong. Charlie Sifford broke the color barrier in the PGA in '61 when Jack was still wet behind the ears.

Also, your perspective on who's the GOAT is severely impaired by your age. By the time you were born, Jack had already retired.

    BTW..... it's Nicklaus.
