HBO , 9:45 pm Sat 17 EDT, Daniel Geale vs Darren Barker, Jonathan Romero vs Kiko Martinez,Cleverly vs Kovalev (tape delay). Along with the tape delay, HBO will have three live fights. Romero-Martinez is a world title fight at 122, not that Kiko really deserves one, but he's buddies with Sergio Martinez (his promoter) and that seems to have helped his career in this regard. Geale-Barker is a very meaningful fight at 160 for Geale's IBF title. Ryan Bivins will be live at ringside for us, and as always with an HBO broadcast, BLH will have live coverage.

The stateside HBO card is tape delayed

I am assuming only the Cleverly - Kovalev is tape delayed and that Barker-Geale and Romereo-Martinez are Live in the States. The show does not start till 2am Sunday morning here in the UK and Ireland so I don't know why they would do that if it was not LIVE in America. Cleverly-Kovalev are due to fight at about 10pm in Cardiff, Wales or slightly after UK time so I guess they have chosen to record that and add it to the Atlantic City bill for the US viewers. Not definite on that though I have given the Clev fight it's own thread to prevent spoilers and because it is on another station in Britain. I recently switched to cable from my Satellite so all I get is HBOW which has the fight on at 8:30 so an hour late. I hate that shit and am glad the web provides an real time alternative.
