Well to be honest the only fights iv seen of Alvarez were the Hatton fight where I was wondering what the big deal was. Then the Rhodes fight which wasn't a great deal better and then the Mosley fight which was so boring I kept nodding off.
It may be a biased point of view but this upcoming fight doesn't fill me with anticipation in the slightest. To be honest although the scores were wide I felt Marquez was the only person to have the sense to not let that lean back defence deter him. He kept throwing shots. Same as Cotto. I just cannot see Alvarez doing the same.
He has a lot of power against light-flyweights though, ask Ulises Solis hehe
I can understand why mosley would feel that way. When you get hit with real accurate punches and shots that you dont see coming, they will hurt a lot more than it looks and he took a lot of those from floyd.
Canelo may be heavier handed and his punches might have more muster but that doesnt necessarily mean that his shots can cause more pain.
Floyd is a dangerous puncher due to his speed, timing, and punch placement.
Mosley fought both so he knows this.
This is strange: dude negative-repped me while leaving a positive comment: "Actually very good point. I forgot about his brittle hands."
Are you a fence-sitter, jehoshaphat?!
Do you go both ways?
You have to make up your mind, son, you're behaving like a wishy-washy, burning-the-candle-at-both-ends type..
I negative repped you? I didn't even know you could do that. That was an accident and I am in no way a fence sitter. I don't know what you mean by going both ways but I hope that it is boxing related. If I ever feel strongly against someone's opinion then I'll post on the thread and not negative rep them then at least we can talk it out. Once again I didn't mean to negative rep you and I didn't even know that was an option.

Alvarez has always had great respect for Mosley. He took it easy on him. He could of stopped him if he wanted. But out of respect for him he never went for it
You haven't even seen the fight. So why comment on it? If you have seen it than tell me in which round Alvarez tried to stop him in? After the 1st round the fight was already his. Yet he never went for the stoppage. Why? Out of respect for him. Learn to read between the fucking lines. It's really not that hard
