I'd concentrate on physical fitness and functionality. Do lots of functional lifts with circuits and anaerobic workouts combined w/a good dose of cardio. The cosmetic part will come naturally once you are at a high level of functional fitness.
The free workout plans on this site absolutely destroy me. This is the stuff that many in the Special Forces community use.
