Default Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder

This fight may be in the works. Both fighters and their management say they are interested.

I think it's one of the most interesting match ups that can be made, and whoever wins with be widely regarded as the most legitimate threat to Wladimir Klitschko's reign as heavyweight champion.

What are your thoughts and predictions?

    I voted difficult to predict!

Tyson Fury is definitely the better boxer of the 2 for sure but I can't back him with any conviction because he has shown some chin issues and would need to be in with Wilder for quite a time as he is more of an accumulation puncher not a big slugger like Wilder who fights at a much more aggressive tempo and will look to land that awesome power on Fury early.

Wilder's chances are highest in the early rounds, after which his stamina question mark will be called into play and also his own chin at this time. In Fury has survived into the middle rounds with Wilder his own punches may have began to take their toll on the bronze bomber.

All bets off on this one!

id back wilder too, i think to beat wilder fury would need to take him past 4 or 5 or 6 rounds and see how he fairs there

i dont think his defence or chin will last that long tho

You are underestimating Fury. He landed plenty early on Johnson whos a mich better defensive boxer. Wlder has the more suspect chin.

Look at the people Fury has faced up until now. He has a decent record. He hasnt faced journeymen. His team have faith in his abilities.

Compare Furys fights to Wilders first 21 fights

Yeah Fury has proven himself against the better opponents that's true, but he isn't the hardest to hit and Wilder can likely land. Which is why I can't give Fury the nod on this one completely! :s

I do think Wlad or Vitali would annihilate Wilder and Haye would be far too slick and probably expose his glass jaw as well!

i dont think fury has the best chin and i dont think he has the best defence, i think wilder has the edge over fury when it comes to styles

its yet to be seen whether wilder will be a great world champ, once he comes up against a world class fighter with a good defence/chin its possible he will come unstuck

that world class fighter isnt fury tho

Jesus Ross you are so blind when it comes to Fury. He has fought shit. His best was a fat overweight Chisora who gassed after 3 rounds and Fury couldn't even stop him when a strong wind would have tipped Chisora over.

Yes Fury could beat wilder but the much more likely scenario is he gets KOd. Fury seriously hurt by feather fisted fighters like Cunningham and Firtha. If Wilder lands it's over. The truth is we don't know how Wildera chin is but we do know Furys is very fragile. I doubt the fight will happen any way too risky for both relatively small reward

Wilder is Dog Shit. He's the 2013 Michael Grant, but he'd still top Fury early imo

    Your talking shit!

Point out what is wrong with what iv said!

Who has Wilder proved himself with that is better than Chisora, Johnson and Cunningham

In fact, Hayes last fight was against someone Fury beat years ago when he was undefeated!

Thats something Haye and Wilder have in common. Fighting Furys left overs.

Wilder can punch but against who? Its a good thing if Fury gets him now. While he still has that mystique of being an undefeated fighter with a 100% KO ratio
