Andy won't do much IMO people will learn to outbox him and tire him out.
Hamer is too well educated and wealthy to be a boxer. He doesn't have the heart for it.

I know there are exceptions (Barrera, ect) but a guy like that, as great an athlete as he is, isn't going to have the guts that a street guy like Ruiz jr has.

That notion will always be true.. OF course there are exceptions but generally, one who had a privileded lifetstyle growing up can't succeed inside the ring..

Rich people generally don't have much to be mad about. And, if they get mad, they hire lawyers. They don't fight. That's why they have nice teeth.

Never thought about it, always figured they wanted to be in there or had to be in there.
Hamer is, obviously, not suited for boxing. Everyone knows how much they are willing to take or can take, so good-bye and good luck. Too bad he took someone's place on a PPV.

Oh and I'm not doubting that Hamer has the skill and has more guts than any of us.

I just think theres a certain point of exhaustion/pain/fear ect that EVERY boxer reaches at some point, whether it's in a fight, training, ect, where a guy who is wealthy independant from boxing will be more apt to justify quitting in his mind that a guy who grew up tough, knows what it's like to struggle and will do anything to escape his surroundings.

Let's be honest if Andy Ruiz had to "struggle" he wouldn't be such fucking fat ass and if all great boxers had to "struggle" Wlad and Vitali wouldn't be champions, they don't have to fight at all they could have had other careers very easily.

Well I said there were exceptions, but outside of the Klitschkos, Barrera, and a handful of others, how many priviledged guys rose to the top of the sport and stayed there for any real amount of time?

Being fat is no indication of having wealth. If anything, poorer people are more prone to being fat due to limited diet choices and having to eat low quality food.

You can laugh about how much Ruiz weighs but at least he doesn't weigh as much as Naseem Hamed.

I like Ruiz. I think he puts combos together well & his hands are pretty fast for a heavy. The weight is a bit of an issue, if he can keep dedicated & busy I think he can be very competitive

Alright, then by that rational why aren't there Sally Struthers commercials featuring millions of obese Ethiopians? Eh buddy?

So don't give me that poor people are fat because they don't have options bs, because if he was "really poor" then the meals (whatever the nutritional content) would be few and far between.

Quick hands and can punch some but man if he gets in the ring with a power puncher might be in some deep shit or learn to get the fuck out of the way of a punch. That being said hes young and can improve the Klitschkos will retire at some point then its open game really don't know.
