Holmes is a warrior. Not sure what Mills Lane was doing in there though. Larry was using his forearm and holding his outreached left glove in Witherspoon's eyes, and Witherspoon was using a little headbutt action at times.

That was brutal. I recently watched Tyson v Holmes and Mike said he was always open to the right hand. Larry showed heart but Tim did as well.

Yea... I ran into this and decided to post it. I know of the fight but never saw it or this round. I had to go back and see how it really unferled and look at why, exactly, were they giving Witherspoon this fight.
This was one of Holmes's more controversial wins... in fact, his most controversial win.
