He's mandatory to Shawn Porters IBF belt fella

Porter has the option of an interim fight and Brook will remain Mandatory still and face the winner if Porter goes that route.

If he does Brook can take a tune up fight but that in itself is risky if he picked up an injury or lost.

Just read Brooks fighting in March in a tune up and Porter might be having a rematch with Alexander.

Its like he's trying to wait out the division completely.

Its not his fault if Porter takes the interim fight or a rematch.

Whatever happens with Porter he remains Mandatory and gets his IBF title shot.

Brook will win that belt...just a matter of time.

Agree he's been a long time coming through but has had some bad luck in his personal life and some injuries.

Maybe its a good thing he'll fight for the title a more experienced fighter.

Well its always something. He was a mandatory for Alexander for two years and 3 attempts failed. I'm not sure I buy the last minute injury claims. Porter is entitled to an optional defense and I'm not sure Alexander has any standing for a rematch unless it was part of the contract and the IBF sanctioned it. Brook should be calling out Porter right now regardless. Personally I dont think Kell wants to leave the womb.

Well therea no turning back now.. Brook has fought his way into the deep end now.

I think he stops both Porter or Alexander.

We shall see , I like Brook...always comes to fight and has ko power and puts fierce combos together.

Maybe im a little biased as he trains a lot at my brothers mates gym in fuerteventura :-)

You dont come around as bias at all. Quite the opposite.

What bugs me is that he's wasting away. The dude has real skill. I was shocked when Porter beat Devon and believe Devon wins a rematch. I think Kell beats Porter also. Maybe Hearn can get him to cross the pond.

Kell has had to have had the slowest of progressions of a so called fighter with talent that I can remember-he takes one step forward and two backwards without losing a fight, its insane!

Kell Brook all the talent, but is there something missing he needs to make his move this year
trouble is the fans have expectations of you fighting for a title sooner rather than later.
Yes I like Brook a slower burner may be, but by the time he fights for a title I will be a pensioner.

The better question is who has been there previously ? Still an untested question mark yet to be challenged by fighters of the Americas. Not buying into another hyped british failure.

Would love to see him fight Amir Khan but I'd think Khan would see Brook as a step down. It could definately go off if Brook took a fight at world level and won though.

I don't get the big panic with Brook, he's only 27. He's a "nobody," with big potential, in a division full of "stars." How can he get big fights if he has nothing to offer the big names? Floyd, Bradley and Maidana are the other shitty belt holders.

He has to play the shitty alphabet game to get any clout, which he's been a bit unlucky with. None of the other "big names" - Khan, Marquez, Broner etc - will fight him if he brings nothing to the table.

He's now gonna get shit for his next opponent because he's forced to wait for Porter.
