Dereck Chisora Now Faces Kevin Johnson at Copper Box - Boxing News

I'm sorry but this choice of opponent is pathetic! Johnson turns up to not hit and try not to get hit. Waste of time for Chisora, he's marking time in a main event and it's bullshit. Frank Warren is conning people with this crap. Terrible card.

Yes but is Johnson any worse then that Ukrainian he was lined up against in the first place? It should have just been Fury v Chisora straight away

    I actually agree with you.

They want to build an audience for a stadium. They should have got Lucas Brone on the show.

Imagine if Jhnson pulls the upset! That would fuck everything up...

Yes he's worse. He doesn't provide anything in terms of offence and he has nothing to trouble anyone. At least with Rudenko he was undefeated so he was an unknown entity. Pala was giving Chisora a little difficulty and he wasn't exactly known. At least he tried. Johnson does not try. Plus he's coming of a crap performance vs. Christian Hammer.

What is the point of Chisora & Fury's fights? Both opponents will offer nothing and this is just short changing fans. Frank Warren is a tosser.

Kevin johnson got jobbed against hammer but it's his fault for not fighting with more authority in hostile territory..

He will probably get outworked by chisora too. What a shit fight.

Johnson is just a durable journeyman .

Just watched an interview with Chisora and he's really not keen on Johnson as an opponent. Saying he's tricky and the crowd will boo.

I doubt this next bit very much BUT IF Johnson has kept in shape, been training since his last fight, this has the potential to be a banana skin for the the whole Fury v Chisora rematch. Chisora had had some shaky moments in his last couple of fights against much lesser skilled men.

Its 3 weeks away. If Johnson hasn't been in training, its going to be terrible because he will spoil and back peddle more than usual to last the distance. Don Charles has said that Chisora will force the issue to try and make it exciting.

Frank Warren is a god of a promoter if you are one of his fighters.

I agree. Look what he did for Ricky Hatton.. he marketed a tough journeyman level fighter into a superstar!

Hatton promptly left as did Khan and Naz and look what happened to them.

Chisoras people have short changed into a role reversal here. Betting the promoter could give a shate less who wins

If Johnson is fit I agree. He leap frogs in to the rankings on a relatively big stage.

I like Chisora. He's fun and has a good attitude for boxing.

He as kept himself busy and got some good results last year but he hasnt looked great doing it and against who?
