... and it's all about what we buy from that hype. No one with an ounce of brains thought Broner could be the next Great One. He isn't a flash in the pan either, but he ain't no Great One. He will be a really good one.

The guy who is the next Great One isn't even in the division with May- and that's Andre Ward. He will go like how Calzaghe and apparently Floyd will go- undefeated at the highest level of this sport.

Danny Garcia has a chance to be the next Great One of the Jr. Welter to Jr. Middle. But he has some ways to go and some proving to go. Ward is 75% there with his route through the Super 6 and his demolition of Dawson.

What Ward needs is career defining wins against Stevenson, Kovalev, Martinez, Chavez, Quillin and GGG. Out of the 6, he needs at least 4 of these fights outside of the Froch rematch.
    Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Martinez or Quillin does nothin for Wards legacy. Martinez is too old and too small. Quillin isn't a great

Martinez is the man skills wise. Quillin is going to be a force that they hype up to the point where he can't be ignored. You can argue that he doesn't have the skill of a Martinez, even an old Martinez, but you can't argue that the aura of his charisma will make him someone who Ward should fight.

    That's fight promotions....
